Eschewing limitation, our James Tall Chair is designed to be customized: from counter to bar height and anywhere in between. Synthetic teak treads—adapted from yacht decking—add a dose of relaxed durability to its sleek, elemental style. Named in honor of the James River, which flows through our hometown of Richmond and serves as a source of life and recreation to our community.

Shorter seat depth, coupled with reduced back height and a more upright angle, promotes a more natural sit at a tall table.
A 2.5-inch boxed seat cushion is included with the James Tall Chair.
Synthetic teak step treads—adapted from yacht decking—run leg to leg and sit on top of the crossbar.
Solid front and rear legs create exceptional strength.

Aluminum Frame

James Tall Chair feet have replaceable, non-adjustable surface protectors (glides) made from a high performance polymer.

Outdoor Furniture Cushions

A 2.5-inch boxed seat cushion is included with the James Tall Chair.
An optional 1-inch knife-edge back cushion is available for an additional charge.
James Tall Chair cushions do not have welting as standard. Welting can be added for an additional charge.
James Tall Chair seat and back cushions have snap ties to secure the cushion to the furniture frame.

C.O.M. yardage indicated above is based on 54" (1.4m) wide plain goods. Please speak with your sales representative regarding C.O.M. calculations for multiple pieces and/or C.O.M. with repeats.
High Performance Outdoor Furniture Cushions in a selection of Italian Performance Fabrics are included in the Beginning At price. Your fabric selection may modify the final price.
Our High Performance Cushion interior is a dacron wrapped reticulated foam core which allows moisture to pass through and will never hold water like a sponge.
Our High Performance Furniture Cushions are designed to stay outdoors and will hold their shape over time and will not pack down.
Seat and ottoman cushions in all McKinnon and Harris textiles and C.O.M. are made with a vinyl open weave mesh underside which releases moisture and allows the cushions to dry more quickly.
Our High Performance Cushions are sewn with the PTFE threads, the same threads used by America’s Cup Yachts. Unaffected by exposure to UV rays, harsh cleaning agents, pollution, saltwater, rain, snow, cold and rot.
